I had a great time making fruit baskets last night and the people we delivered to were happy to get them. I lost count of how many were made but it was a lot.

I turned on the radio this morning to hear Christmas music playing cheerfully through my speakers. It put me in a festive mood and I have been that way all day. I love Christmas and my beautiful small white Christmas tree which I decorate with angels, tensil and Christmas balls is now out of storage waiting to be taken out of the box. I wish I could do it tonight but we're going to help make fruit baskets for those in need. There will be two teams of us involved in the project. One group will fill them and the other will deliver them. I think we'll have a great time and I'm looking forward to bringing someone some joy tonight.

It has been a beautiful day today and I took full advantage of it. The sunshine felt wonderful after all the rain we've had in the last two months. Was beginning to think I'd have to resurrect the blueprints for Noah's Arc. *grins*

Good afternoon! Hope everyone is having a good week so far.
On Sunday morning I sang at the ninety-fifth anniversary celebration of Holly Grove Baptist Church, a small church in Moscow, Tennessee and last weekend I was at a church in Northwest Mississippi. Today I've got some music related work I need to do and I'd like to sit down and try to write on at least one of my novels. It has now been almost a month since I have gotten anything done--the longest bout of writer's block I have experienced in a long time. sometimes a break can prove beneficial in rejuvinating creativity and the desire to write, which is essential if I am to get anywhere.
