In June while visiting Chicago, Illinois, Megan was interviewed for an episode for the Beacon, a radio show on Relevant radio based out of Chicago.

In late August Megan participated in an online seminar hosted by the Hadley School for the Blind in which she talked about her experience as a former Hadley student. She also talked about her career as a Southern Gospel singer and aspiring fiction writer, as well as answering questions from listeners as far away as china.
